The eponymous white (the wines have no name other than that of the project) 2018 Blanco was produced with grapes from different vineyards in the village of Taganana planted with a myriad of grape varieties—Malvasia Aromática, Forastera, Listán Blanco, Vijariego Blanco, Marmajuelo, Gual—fermented by plot, one of them with skins in a bin and the rest pressed in 500-liter barrels, all with natural yeasts. It matured for 11 months before bottling. It has a golden color since it had some skin contact; it comes from two harvests, from two different zones, and the first grapes, maybe 25% of the volume was kept with the skins waiting for the rest of the grapes. I think this slightly blurs the wine a little and interferes with the purity of the wine. It has notes of quince and a medicinal touch, a little more oxidative than the wines from the Orotava given the different varietal mix. The palate is quite sharp for a white that has gone through malolactic (the whites from Suertes don't normally do malolactic), and it's serious and earthy. 1,300 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2019.
