Color pajizo brillante.
Aroma expresión frutal, floral, hierbas secas.
Fresco, frutoso, fácil de beber.
2024 / 91 puntos The white 2024 Basa from Rueda was produced with 90% Verdejo and 10% Viura in a direct, fresh and expressive style. Coming from a diversity of vineyards, it was cropped from a warmish year with around 500 liters of rain but with a cooler September that allowed for a good end of the season, and the grapes achieved good ripeness and were picked starting September 23. This fermented and matured with the lees in stainless steel and finished with 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.35 and 5.96 grams of acidity. It's still very young, only faintly reductive, expressive, varietal and fresh, very tasty, almost salty. This is not a small cuvée—they produced 430,000 bottles, and 80% is exported. It was bottled in February 2025.Robert Parker The Wine Advocate / Luis Gutiérrez
