Candea Blanco 2018 es un vino elaborado por Bodegas Quinta da Muradella de José Luís Mateo y acogido a la Denominación de Origen Monterrei (Galicia).
Se elabora con las variedades de uva autóctonas Treixadura, Doña Blanca y Verdello en distintas proporciones. Elaboración tradicional, fermentación con levaduras indígenas y posterior envejecimiento en depósito de acero inox con sus lías finas durante 6 meses aprox.

The entry-level white is the 2018 Candea Blanco, all from grapes from a friend and fermented in stainless steel, where it was kept with fine lees for one year. The wine is austere and serious (harvest was early to avoid too much ripeness), and it is really marked by the granite soils; it's stony and mineral, with an incredible sapidity. It's somehow reminiscent of a white Rhône...with acidity! It's a great introduction to the granite soils of Monterrei, with incredible freshness and minerality. There are 6,000 bottles of this. It was bottled in August 2019.
