2017 > 93+ puntos
There are now more wines under the Saktih brand, which has turned into a range of high-quality and quite limited production wines (and high price, unfortunately), so the regular Saktih is now the 2017 Saktih Petit Verdot. The challenge was to have the right combination of tannin and acidity. This fermented in stone lagares with indigenous yeasts and matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, 60% of them new. Tasted next to the 2018 Merlot and Cabernet Franc, you notice the heat and ripeness of the vintage and also the clout and concentration of the variety. This is black, and the other 2018s are red. Only 950 bottles were produced. It was bottled in April 2019.
