Vizcarra Garnacha es un vino tinto con barrica acogido a la IGP Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León y elaborado por Bodegas Vizcarra.
Es un vino monovarietal de Garnacha, procedente de viñedos de 15 años que se vendimian a mano. Selección del fruto en bodega, despalillado, fermentación alcohólica en depósito de acero inox y maloláctica en barrica de roble. Posterior crianza en barricas de 400 litros de roble francés y americano durante 14 meses.

The Ribera del Duero appellation does not allow varietal Garnacha bottlings, so the 2018 Garnacha is sold as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León. It was produced with grapes from a vineyard planted from a massal selection of the vineyard they use for Celia. In the cooler and wetter 2018 vintage, it feels fresh and perfumed, floral and aromatic and with a seamless palate with very fine tannins and great balance. It's very different from the 2017 I tasted last time. It matured in used 400-liter barrels—50% French, 50% American—and in an oval French oak vat for 14 months, and the oak feels very integrated. 3,519 bottles and 137 magnums were filled in June 2020. - Issue 255 End of June 2021, The Wine Advocate, Luis Gutiérrez -
